HEGINS - A whopping 32 runs and 28 hits couldn't produce a winner in Thursday's Schuylkill League Division II clash between Marian and Tri-Valley.
The Colts and Dawgs battled to a 16-16 tie through six innings before darkness halted play. The game will resume at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, after Tri-Valley hosts Weatherly at 1 p.m.
Peter Baddick drove in six runs for Marian, which overcame an 11-3 deficit after two innings with four runs in the third and seven more in the fourth to take a 14-11 lead.
The Dawgs tied it up with three runs of their own before the Colts scored single runs in the fifth and sixth. Tri-Valley knotted the score with two runs in the bottom of the sixth before the game was suspended.
Collin Maurer is 4-for-4 with four runs scored and two RBIs for Tri-Valley, while Hunter Bordner and Devin Masser have each driven in three runs for Tri-Valley.

ORWIGSBURG - Austin Krammes compiled three hits and four RBIs as the Eagles rolled to a five-inning Division I victory over the Olympians.
Adam Hull and Luciano Valenti each added two hits for Blue Mountain, which scored five runs in the second inning and eight more in the fourth. Sean Greenawalt scored three times and had two RBIs, while Troy Moyer added two RBIs.
Ian Sterling hit an RBI triple for Jim Thorpe in the first inning.

LANSFORD - Drawing back-to-back walks to start the sixth inning, the Cardinals finally broke a scoreless tie when Jed Blankenhorn scored on a sacrifice fly by Steve Zimmerman to give Austin Fick the only run support he needed in Pine Grove's Division I victory over the Panthers.
Fick faced the minimum number of batters until the sixth inning when a single by Matt Buss with two outs broke up his no-hitter.
Pine Grove added two insurance runs in the seventh as Blankenhorn drove in Matt Hasenauer, who walked and went to third on Nick Cataldo's single. Cataldo later scored on a groundout by Kobe D'Agostino.
Jake Szczecina was the tough-luck loser for Panther Valley, surrendering just four hits and striking out two.

TAMAQUA - Connor Hartung and Matt Roberts combined on a three-hit shutout as the Blue Raiders remained unbeaten with a six-inning rout of the Spartans.
Hartung struck out six and walked two in five innings, while Roberts pitched the sixth. In 20 innings this season, Tamaqua pitchers have allowed 11 hits and no runs.
Russell Blaker paced Tamaqua's 11-hit attack by going 3-for-4 with two RBIs, while Roberts was 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Brett Kosciolek hit a two-run homer in the first inning, while Adam Bates hit a solo shot in the fourth.

HAMBURG - Ryan Atkinson compiled four strikeouts, tossing five innings of one-hit relief as the Hawks defeated the Raiders in the completion of a suspended game from Saturday.
H.S. Boys' Volleyball Governor Mifflin 3 Pottsville 0
Shawn Johnson led Pottsville with four kills and four digs, but the Crimson Tide fell to Governor Mifflin 25-8, 25-10, 25-14 in a Berks League match.
Kyle Wilner added eight digs and Ryan Reese tallied two kills for the Tide (0-5, 0-3 Berks I).
Andrew Wasmuth paced the Mustangs with three aces and 12 assists.
Governor Mifflin won JV 2-1.
