TAMAQUA - Sophomore Taylor Fritz delivered a two-run double over the center fielder's head with the bases loaded and one out in the seventh inning as Tamaqua rallied for a 4-3 victory over Pine Grove in a Schuylkill League Division I game Wednesday.
Shayna Dietrich helped the three-run rally in the seventh inning with an RBI single that scored Alyssa Gerhard, who opened the frame with a single. A fielder's choice by Lynn Kistler and an intentional walk to Alexis Boyer set the table for Fritz.
Jeena Sidleck homered for the Cardinals, who led 3-0.

MILLERSBURG - Amber Bingaman scored the game's only run in the eighth inning as Upper Dauphin edged the Indians in a Tri-Valley League contest.
Bingaman finished 4-for-4 at the plate with a double. In the circle, the senior recorded 15 strikeouts, while allowing three hits and walking one.
Bingaman singled with one out in the eighth, moved to second on a walk and scored when a fly ball to center field by Taylor Brown dropped.

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS - Zierra Treshock went 3-for-3 with a double and Christie Hutira threw a two-hit shutout for the Spartans in a Division I victory.
Treshock added a run scored and two RBIs for North Schuylkill, which used a six-run fifth inning to pull away from Blue Mountain.
Eliza Shally finished 2-for-3 for with two RBIs for the Spartans. Rachel Gricoski also went 2-for-3.

SHENANDOAH - Laura Bisco jump-started the Golden Bears with a bases-loaded triple in the second inning and finished with six RBIs as Mahanoy Area posted a Division III rout of the Blue Devils.
Shaina Leshko went 3-for-5 and Erin Davidson added a 2-for-3 day to back the three-hit pitching of Emily Bruce, who struck out 11.
Jacquie Burke's two-run single in the fifth drove in Shenandoah's runs.

Kassidy Svenson went 3-for-5 with five RBIs and two runs scored, while Abby Conage was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored for Schuylkill Haven.

Paige Vandermeer collected a pair of RBIs and pitched five shutout innings in an 8-0 win in Game 1 for the Lions' first victory of the season.
