FOUNTAIN SPRINGS - Tiffany Lapotsky went 4-for-4 and hit for the cycle to lead North Schuylkill to a 9-0 victory over Danville on Saturday in non-league softball action. She tripled in the first inning, homered in the second, singled in the fourth and doubled in the sixth.
Lapotsky, who also had three stolen bases, hit her first home run of the season off the middle of the roof of the maintenance building beyond the left-field fence.
Christie Hutira struck out 11 while allowing only three hits in a complete-game shutout to pick up her fifth win of the season.
Chase Stokes went 3-for-4 and with three RBIs in the Spartans' victory.

HOMETOWN - Bryianna Pearson singled, doubled and knocked in three runs in the first of two non-league games Marian hosted Saturday. An 11-run third inning decided the outcome.

HOMETOWN - Abby Stankiewitch slugged a two-run home run over the center-field fence to ignite a seven-run third inning that propelled the undefeated Fillies to victory.

Tri-Valley takes 2 from Pius X
ROSETO - Katie Rabuck and Taryn Wilson each pitched a three-inning perfect game as Tri-Valley swept Pius X 21-0 and 18-0 in a non-league doubleheader.
Freshman Wendy Header went 5-for-5 with seven RBIs on the day, while Wilson went 5-for-5 with eight RBIs.
The Dawgs also took advantage of 25 walks.
Nativity 19 Antietam 4
Jocelyn Holobetz and Ryleigh Walaconis each picked up three hits and three RBIs as Nativity cruised by Antietam in non-league action.
Holobetz notched her fifth win of the season as the Golden Girls remained undefeated.

NEW SCHAEFFERSTOWN - Hayley Wolff had three hits and four RBIs and teammate Jennifer Kaufman went 4-for-4 with two RBIs as Pine Grove topped Tulpehocken in a non-leauge game.
Morgan Wolfe pitched a complete game, giving up only one run on four hits and striking out seven for the Cardinals.
Catasauqua 5 Tamaqua 2
CATASAUQUA - Taylor Fritz had two hits with one RBI and Bailey Pedersen pitched a complete game, but Tamaqua fell to Catasauqua in a non-league game.
Cailyn Joseph also picked up two hits, including the Blue Raiders' only extra base hit, a double.

MOUNT CARMEL - Caity Funk had a home run and a double with four RBIs as Lourdes crushed Millville in a non-league game.
Pitcher Peyton Klembara struck out four and went 1-for-2 with two RBIs as she and the Red Raiders picked up their first win of the season.

College Softball PSU-Schuylkill splits with PSU-Beaver
MONACA - Paige Vandermeer pitched a two-hitter to lead Penn State Schuylkill to a 3-2 victory over PSU-Beaver in Game 1 of a Penn State University Athletic Conference doubleheader.
In the nightcap, Jena Leffler hit a solo home run, but PSU-Schuylkill fell 11-3. Tabby Dusel and Molly Carduff added two hits apiece for the local Lions.
H.S. Track and Field Tide's Stoner, Stevens win Pan Ram titles
HARRISBURG - Pottsville's Paige Stoner won a pair of events, while AJ Stevens also grabbed a championship during the 26th annual Pan Ram Invitational at Landis Field at Central Dauphin Middle School.
Stoner won the girls' 800 with a time of 2:19.33, beating Palmyra's Katie Dembrowski (2:22.03). Stoner also grabbed the 1,600, finishing with a 5:00.83 as Central Bucks West's Maddie Villalba (5:05.31) took second.
Stoner teamed with Gabrielle DiRenzo, Lauren Howell and Gabrielle Evans to place fifth in the girls' 3,200 relay, while Sarah Lombel (high jump) and Makayla Jones (javelin) added eighth-place finishes for Pottsville.
Stevens took the boys' triple jump with a winning jump of 45 feet, 6.25 inches. Bishop McDevitt's Brandon Stanback (44-6.75) was the runner-up.
The Crimson Tide's Humza Hnesh (2:00.78) was second in the boys' 800 behind Central York's Brook Wilson (1:58.27), while Patrick McDonald (13-0) came in third in the boys' pole vault. Northern Lebanon's Derek DiAngelis (14-4) won the event.
H.S. Boys' Volleyball Easton takes title at Pottsville tourney
Easton won the Pottsville Boys' Volleyball Tournament. Northampton finished second.
The host Crimson Tide placed third, with Wyoming Valley West and Kutztown rounding out the top five.
