The Pottsville Area School District is accepting applications for the position of head girls' volleyball coach.
The new coach will replace Lauren Shandor, who led the Crimson Tide to a 46-8 record, including 37-1 in Schuylkill League Division I play, over her three seasons. Pottsville placed second in the Schuylkill League playoffs twice in her tenure.
Applicants should submit a coaching resume, including references and Act 134 Pennsylvania State Police, Act 151 Child Abuse, Act 114 FBI and Act 24 Arrest-Conviction Certification clearances, to Eric Rismiller, director of athletics, at Pottsville Area High School, 16th Street and Elk Avenue, Pottsville, Pa., 17901.
The application deadline is May 1.
