TOWER CITY - Tianna Yanoscak and Maura Kreiser delivered RBI singles in the bottom of the sixth inning to help Williams Valley rally past Nativity 3-2 on Tuesday in a Schuylkill League Division II-III softball game.
Yanoscak's single followed a walk issued to Cassidy Pinchorski and a double by Kate Whelski.
The Golden Girls started the scoring with Stephanie Killian's solo home run in the first and led 2-0 after the top of the third.
Whelski finished 3-for-3 for Williams Valley and Hannah Nestor went 3-for-4.
Despite giving up the home run to Killian and doubles to Allegra Miske and Desiree Reigel, Pinchorski struck out 10 Nativity batters to prevent further damage.

HEGINS - Taryn Wilson tossed a three-inning perfect game, striking out eight of the nine batters she faced, as the Dawgs routed Shenandoah Valley in a Division II-III crossover game.
Wilson helped herself with a 2-for-3 effort that included a two-run single in Tri-Valley's 11-run first inning, and a three-run homer in the second inning.

JIM THORPE - Tiff Lapotsky, Rachel Gricoski, Eliza Schally, Abby Peleschak and Alex Morgan each slugged home runs as the Spartans routed the Olympians in six innings in a Division I contest.
Morgan drove in three runs, while Schally went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for North Schuylkill.

HAMBURG - Ashtyn Epting's two-run single in the second inning helped break the game open as the Hawks earned a non-league win over the Cougars.
Epting finished 4-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored for the Hawks.

JIM THORPE - John Rupinski collected three hits, drove in a pair of runs and stole three bases as the Spartans beat the Olympians in a Division I contest ended by darkness with one out in the seventh inning.
Rupinski helped start a four-run inning for North Schuylkill with an RBI single. Ryan Hillbish followed with a two-run double to give the Spartans a 6-1 lead through three innings.

Kyle Kaledas collected an RBI double in the first inning and finished the game with a two-run double in the fifth, leading the Hilltoppers to a Division II rout of the Golden Bears atop Lawton's Hill.
Aric Foster, Andrew Belding and Tyler Hunyara each had RBI singles as Nativity scored 11 runs in the fourth to end the contest. Dylan Palamar also finished with two RBIs.
Devils-Wreckers suspended in 5th
SHENANDOAH - Angelo Maskornick's three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning pushed Shenandoah Valley ahead of Weatherly 5-3 in a Division II contest before rain suspended play in the top of the fifth inning with two outs.
The game will resume at 3:30 p.m. today in Weatherly prior to the regularly scheduled contest between the teams.

HAMBURG - Joey Cominsky's two-run triple proved to be the difference as the Hawks earned a non-league victory over the Cougars.
