Evening his record at 2-2 this season, pitcher Collin McGovern struck out eight batters over six innings as Nativity beat Weatherly 6-2 in a Schuylkill League Division II baseball game Saturday atop Lawton's Hill.
Jeff Yordy, who relieved McGovern on the mound to close out the game, went 2-for-3 with a double, single and RBI for the Hilltoppers, who claimed their second win in as many days.
Luke Figas struck out seven batters and Adam Capone had the Wreckers' sole RBI in the loss, Weatherly's sixth in a row.

MINERSVILLE - Lukas Heffron hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning and Aaron Fritz went 2-for-3 with three RBIs as Minersville beat Panther Valley in non-league action.
Fritz had a double and a two-run triple and teammate Chris Leshko went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in the win for the Miners.
Luke Stano had two hits and an RBI in the loss for the Panthers.

MILLERSBURG - Tri-Valley used a 13-run fourth inning, which included a two-run home run by Hunter Bordner, to top Millersburg in a non-league game.
Bordner also hit a double and knocked in five runs and teammate Conrad Opozda went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Bulldogs.

Darion Jacoby drove in Pottsville's only run on an RBI single in the sixth inning as the Tide lost to Reading in a non-league game.
Dan Doyle added a double for Pottsville's only other hit in the loss.
