PINE GROVE - While Schuylkill Haven was beating Marian on Thursday, the Pine Grove girls' track and field team had some business to take of, too.
That's what the Cardinals did.
McKayla Lally (100, 200, long jump) won three individual events as Pine Grove cliniched a share of the Schuykill League Division II championship with a 94-47 victory over Mahanoy Area at Cardinal Stadium.
The Cardinals (5-2, 5-1) finished in a three-way tie with Marian (5-2, 5-1) and Schuylkill Haven (5-2, 5-1) for the top spot in the division after the Hurricanes' downed Marian 84-57 on Thursday. Pine Grove beat Schuylkill Haven 71-70 on April 10 and lost to the Fillies 87-54 on April 17.
The Golden Bears (3-3, 3-3) won two of the three relays in the loss.
