PINE GROVE — Jess Yeneskie, Chloe Stravinsky and Nikki Kane finished in the top three positions to lead North Schuylkill to a 24-33 victory over Minersville and a 17-34 victory over Pine Grove in a non-league tri-meet Wednesday.
Yeneskie won the race in 22:44, while Stravinsky was second in 24:25 and Kane crossed the line in 24:38.
Autumn Pedron led Minersville with a fourth-place finish at 24:48 as the Miners defeated Pine Grove 19-43.

Jim Thorpe sweeps Pottsville, Nativity
JIM THORPE — Kayley Kovac and Robbyn Loyd finished in the top two spots to lead Jim Thorpe over Pottsville 25-30 and Nativity 15-50 in a non-league tri-meet. Kovac won the race in 23:01.
Brenna Nagle was third in 24:52 for Pottsville, which defeated Nativity 15-50.

HOMETOWN — Blue Mountain had nine runners finish in the top ten, with second-place finisher Shannon Henninger leading the way at 21:33, as the Eagles defeated Marian 20-43 and Schuylkill Haven 15-50 in a non-league tri-meet.
Tina Capparell broke the Marian school record, winning the race in 20:27. The Fillies defeated Schuylkill Haven 19-36.
