TAMAQUA — Tyler Skripko scored three touchdowns and Tamaqua breezed to a 28-0 halftime lead as the Blue Raiders defeated Panther Valley 41-0 in an Anthracite Football League game Friday night at Tamaqua Sports Stadium.
Skripko scored on runs of 10, 29 and 6 yards and caught a two-point conversion pass from Ernie Shilko. Collin Moyer, who led the Blue Raiders with 76 yards rushing, added touchdown runs of 1 and 9 yards. Malik Roper also ran 33 yards for a Tamaqua touchdown.
The Blue Raiders’ defense limited Panther Valley to one yard of offense, picked off two passes and recovered a fumble.
The win was Tamaqua’s second in a row after an overtime win last week over Schuylkill Haven.

ELIZABETHVILLE — Cameron Fornwald rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns as the Trojans cruised to a non-league victory at Trojan Stadium.
Drake Lenker tossed a pair of touchdown passes for Upper Dauphin, a 42-yarder to Ethan Schell and a 20-yarder to Tanner Miller to help the Trojans build a 25-0 halftime lead.
Fornwald, who opened the scoring with a 10-yard TD run, hit paydirt again in the third quarter on a 43-yard scamper.
Upper Dauphin also forced six turnovers in the game — three interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

HAMBURG — Junior quarterback Nick Kuhn tossed two touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Hawks claimed their first victory of the season by beating the Cougars in a Berks League Section II game on Hawk Hill.
Kuhn threw 15 yards to Jared Lesher and 23 yards to Aaron Nelson for first-half touchdowns. Kuhn also ran for a touchdown as Hamburg took a 27-0 halftime lead.
