HEGINS — Steven Hill’s hat trick helped Williams Valley earn its third straight Schuylkill League Division II win Tuesday night, a 4-1 victory over rival Tri-Valley.

Hill scored in the 10th minute on a pass from Peppe Mini and tallied two unassisted goals in the 48th and 52nd minutes to give the Vikings a 3-1 lead.

Tuesday’s performance brings Hill’s season total to 15 goals.

Mini scored in the 62nd minute to set the final.

Ben Hinkel scored the only goal for the Bulldogs on a 46th-minute penalty.

JIM THORPE — Ryan Reyes netted the game-winner in the 51st minute to lift the Crimson Tide over the Olympians in a Division I game.

Chris Williams opened the scoring for Jim Thorpe with an 11th minute goal but Shea Golden equalized for Pottsville in the 34th. Jake DiCello assisted on Reyes’ winner.

Kyle Brennan made eight saves for the Tide to Carter Rodriguez’ 10 for the Olympians.

Benner’s first strike came 33 minutes into the contest and was followed by Cam Greenawalt’s goal four minutes later.

Benner scored again in the 68th minute to ensure Blue Mountain would stay undefeated in league play so far.
