Captains named for SCFCA game
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — North Schuylkill graduate Terry Rakowsky and Nativity graduate Eric Muldowney are the honorary captains for this year’s Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association All-Star Game on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 7 p.m., at Rotary Field, Schuylkill Haven.
Rakowsky, who graduated from North Schuylkill in 1978, is honorary captain for the North, and Muldowney, who graduated from Nativity in 1990, is honorary captain for the South. As was previously announced, first-year Panther Valley head coach Matt Davis will coach the North and Williams Valley head coach Tim Savage will coach the South.
Rakowsky and Muldowney will take part in the pregame coin toss and also participate in the halftime ceremonies honoring the SCFCA Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Entering the Hall of Fame are Tom Bonner, Panther Valley; the late Barry Hackenberg, North Schuylkill; Kevin Keating, Pottsville; and the late Pat Droskinis, Cass Township.
