Penn State Schuylkill splits with Worthington Scranton
The Penn State Schuylkill women’s basketball team picked up its second win of the season in the first game of a Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference doubleheader with Penn State Worthington Scranton on Tuesday night. Coleen Druby and Samantha Cook led Schuylkill with 15 points apiece in the win, while Tessa Dolce had 13 points and 15 rebounds. The men followed with a 72-58 loss to Scranton, the local Lions’ fourth straight loss to start the season. Both teams return to action Thursday against PSU-Hazleton in a doubleheader at Martz Hall, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
