STEELTON — Paige Doyle, Reagan Newswanger and Brianne Pacenta led Tri-Valley to a come-from-behind, 52-48 win over Steel-High in a non-league girls’ basketball contest Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs trailed 18-4 in the first quarter, but outscored the Steamrollers 48-30 the rest of the way.
Doyle paced Tri-Valley with 13 points, while Newswanger and Pacenta added 12 points apiece.
Pacenta tied the game at 48 with a jumper before Madison Scheib and Newswanger sealed the Dawgs’ comeback victory, each sinking a pair of free throws with less than a minute left in the game.

Joseph recorded 15 points and 10 assists, while Miller finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Mike Wronski knocked down a pair of 3-pointers to open the third quarter for Mahanoy Area, which held a 16-8 scoring advantage in the period to take a 36-25 advantage.
