SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Ian McGowan had a hand in four victories as Schuylkill Haven defeated Tamaqua 105-42 in a Schuylkill League boys’ swim meet Tuesday.
McGowan won the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle and swam on the Hurricanes’ winning 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams. Connor Raymond (200 IM), Sam Brennan (100 free), John Rakowsky (100 back) and Joe Brennan (100 breast) also recorded individual wins for Schuylkill Haven (2-2, 1-1 SL), which won the final six events.
Ben Turrano (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly) was a double-winner for Tamaqua (0-5, 0-3), while Thorn Devlin captured diving.
