ORWIGSBURG — Dean Stramara and Spencer Welsh hit two free throws apiece in second overtime to lift Blue Mountain to a thrilling 90-86 victory over Lehighton in a Schuylkill League Division I boys’ basketball contest Thursday evening.

Mark Chelius tied the game and drew the foul, sinking the foul shot to put the Eagles up with less than 2 minutes to play in the second overtime as Blue Mountain overcame a five-point deficit.

Chelius led the Eagles with 26 points, including six in the two overtime periods. Aaron Albertini tallied 23 for the Eagles, with eight of those coming in overtime.

Tyler Crum had a team-high 25 points for the Indians, followed by Tyler Williams and Nick Chambers, who added 16 points each.

Eli Nabholz tallied 13 points and Connor Hinchliffe had 10 for Pottsville, which had a 45-22 lead at halftime.

Jaden Buchanan led the Bulldogs with 23 points.

Santana hit a jumper and was 1-for-2 in the extra session to give Shenandoah Valley the victory. He finished with 14 field goals and was 9-for-12 from the stripe.

Josh White added 12 points for the Blue Devils, who overcame a 21-9 deficit after the first quarter.

READING — The Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association released the seeds for this weekend’s BCIAA Individual Wrestling Tournament at Reading’s Geigle Complex.

Sean Stanish (21-4) was Hamburg’s highest seed, a No. 2 at 120 pounds. Exeter’s Brett Kulp (21-0) is the top seed.

Other Hamburg seeds include Romeo Eaddy, fourth at 113; Reese Mason, fourth at 138; Matt James, fourth at 152; Ron Lavigne, fourth at 160; and Tyler Herber, fourth at 170.
