HEGINS — Caleb Bordner (120) won by fall and Kyle Stephen (126) finished off the night with a decision victory as Tri-Valley won the final two bouts to rally past North Schuylkill 37-30 in a Schuylkill League Division I dual meet Wednesday evening.

The Bulldogs (10-1, 3-1 D-I) trailed 30-28 entering the final two bouts. But Bordner pinned Mason Madden-Edwards in 1:00 to give Tri-Valley the lead, while Stephen beat Zach Griffin 8-3 to seal it.

Sammy Hepler (138), Chase Schaeffer (145) and Dawson Schwalm (152) recorded falls for the Bulldogs, while Hunter Harner (182) won by major decision. Tri-Valley won eight of the 12 contested bouts.

Alek Hummel (195) and Owen Boyer (106) had falls for the Spartans (14-2, 2-2 D-II).

PINE GROVE — Austin Ney’s fall in the final bout at 195 pounds tied the dual meet, and Pine Grove won the Division I contest on Criterion B, most six-point victories (6-5).

Scott Werner (285), Marcus Kassab (145), Dustin Carlin (152) and Scott Aungst (160) had pins for the Cardinals (10-8, 1-3 D-I).

In a key bout at 132, Pine Grove’s Danny Diaz-Walton edged Cody Scherer 3-1.
