Big D show switches malls
FORESTVILLE -- Big Diamond Speedway officials announced Wednesday that its annual preseason racing show has been moved and that a day has been added to the event.
The show was scheduled to return to the Fairlane Village Mall from Monday through Friday, March 2-6.
The show instead will be held Monday through Saturday, March 2-7, at the Schuylkill Mall near Frackville.
Penn State hikes parking charges
STATE COLLEGE — Penn State University announced it will raise the season parking pass fee for the 2015 football season.
A season car parking pass will cost $100 for the seven-game home schedule.
The single-game advance purchase price for car parking will increase to $15. A season RV parking pass costs $350 while a single-game advance RV parking pass increases to $60.
The university announced there will be no change in prices for football season tickets or Nittany Lion Club donation levels. The deadline for Nittany Lion Club donations and football season ticket payments is Feb. 1.
