NEW PHILADEPHIA — Cory Houser scored a game-high 42 points to lead the Schuylkill Fire Dogs to their first-ever victory.

The Fire Dogs posted a 137-83 rout of the Columbia, Md., All-Stars in an Eastern Basketball Alliance game at the Citadel Athletic Center in the Simon Kramer Cancer Institute.

Shavinskin Thomas added 25 points and Lorenzo Carter had 20 for Schuylkill. Darnell Brasswell added 19.

Schuylkill rolled out to a 65-35 halftime advantage.

Leo Rogers led Columbia with 31 points.
