Blue Devils finished with the best defense in the Schuylkill League, allowing a little more than 31 points per game. … Snitzer finished in top five in Schuylkill League in scoring (16.1 ppg), 3-point field goals per game (2.6) and free-throw percentage (.750). … Blue Devils have been honorable mention in state Class A rankings since midseason. After their first-round win, they moved up to No. 8. … Shenandoah Valley has only one loss to a Class A team this season — Williams Valley, which the Devils later beat in the District 11 championship. They have a loss to Class AA No. 5 Minersville and two to Marian. … This season’s District 11 Class A title was the program’s first in school history. … Shenandoah jumped out to big lead vs. Faith Christian in first round before finishing with a nine-point win. … Mansfield came from behind to beat Halifax in first round. Hillson led Tigers with 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Garverick had 17 points and 16 rebounds. The win moved Mansfield to No. 9 in the state Class A rankings. … Garverick has more than 1,000 points and 700 rebounds for her career. … Tigers won District 4 title and first-round PIAA game for first time since 2006.

Williams Valley trounced District 12 champion Philadelphia West Catholic 67-43 in the first round, while Lourdes upset District 3 champion Lebanon Catholic. … Hawk led Williams Valley with 21 points in first-round game. Daniel had double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Whelski had 17 points. … Bickel had 13 points for Lourdes in first round. Trell added 12. Komara, Funk and Albert combined for 20 points. … Both teams are in Schuylkill League Division II and split during the regular season. Both teams won on their home floor. Lourdes beat Williams Valley 53-33 on Dec. 23 and Williams Valley beat Lourdes 48-43 on Jan. 29. … Williams Valley finished with the Schuylkill League’s third-best offense this season, averaging more than 53 points per game. Hawk, Whelski and Hannah Nestor are in top 25 in area scoring. … Lourdes is one of the strongest perimeter offensive teams in the Schuylkill League. … Trell is ninth in league scoring, third in 3-point shooting (2.5 per game) and 10th in free-throw percentage (.711). In the Raiders’ win over Sayre in District 4 consolation, she set the school record for 3s in a season (62). … Bickel is just as potent outside. The sophomore is sixth in league in scoring and sixth in 3-point shooting (1.8 per game).
