Game notes

Lourdes beat Schuylkill League Division II opponent Williams Valley in second round, closing the game on a 16-point run. Bickel scored a game-high 22 points. Trell had 15 points and eight steals. … Trell set the school record for 3-pointers in a season in the Raiders’ District 4 Class A consolation victory over Sayre. She has 67 3-pointers this season. … Trell and Bickel are two of the Schuylkill League’s leading scorers, both averaging around 15 points a game. … Old Forge lost in the state Class A championship last season, but graduated all of its starters. Stacchiotti is also in his first season as coach. … Devils are coming off their fourth straight District 2 title. … Tansley had a 26-point, 14-rebound, four-block outing during the District 2 Class A final. She was the team’s first player off the bench last season and was a second-team All-State softball selection last season.

Directions to Hazleton H.S.: Take Interstate 81 North to Hazleton. Exit onto PA-924/Can-Do Expressway (Exit 143) toward Hazleton and take for 2 miles. Turn sharp left onto East Broad Street/PA-93/PA-924 and then make a slight right onto North Broad Street. Turn right onto West 22nd Street. School will be on the left.
