ORWIGSBURG — An Orwigsburg man recorded a hole-in-one recently at Schuylkill Country Club.
Jim Burkhardt used a 7-iron to ace the par-3, 126-yard 16th hole.
His playing partners were Bill Moss, John Schu and Jim Schu.

honors Eflin
READING — Reading Fightin Phils starting pitcher Zach Eflin was named Pitcher of the Week on Monday by the Eastern League.
Eflin went 2-0 with seven strikeouts and a 0.00 earned-run average in his first two starts.
He tossed six shutout innings against Portland on April 12 and followed with eight shutout innings against Richmond on Sunday.
