MINERSVILLE — Adrienne Kroznuskie has played just a season and a half, and she’s already Minersville’s home run queen.
Kroznuskie homered twice, including a second-inning grand slam, to power the Miners past the Panthers 16-0 in a three-inning Division II-III crossover rout Thursday afternoon.
Kroznuskie has 16 career home runs, including seven this season. She surpassed the 15 hit by Lori Pisco, who graduated in 1983.
Kroznuskie finished with six RBIs on three hits. Abby Schoffstall had two hits and Emily Mealey tripled for Minersville, which got hits from nine different batters.
Mallory Ebert earned the win for the Miners, allowing just two hits.

Tiffany Lapotsky had two hits, including a three-run triple in the top of the sixth inning that helped the Spartans build an 8-6 lead.
Emily Hindman singled, doubled and had two RBIs, while Mackenzie Hasenauer contributed three singles and two runs scored for the Cardinals.

The Eagles got three back in the bottom of the 11th, including two runs on Amanda Labe’s triple. Blue Mountain had the potential tying run on third base, but the game ended on a line-drive out.
Labe finished with five hits, including a double, the triple and three RBIs. Catherine Washko added four hits, while Hannah Bowers and Makayla Umbenhauer contributed three apiece. Lindsay LaScala chipped in two hits and three RBIs.

Kait Boyer went 2-for-2 with three runs scored for Schuylkill.
In the nightcap, Tyler and Marcella Scheeler both went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead Schuylkill to a 19-0 win over Fayette to complete the sweep. Tyler also scored four runs.
