Tiff Lapotsky went 4-for-6 and scored three runs, while Chase Stokes added a solo home run in the first inning for North Schuylkill.
Lehighton’s Kelsey Andrews scored in the bottom of the 10th on Shelby Snyder’s fielder’s choice, but winning pitcher Christie Hutira induced a fly ball to end the game.

Kroznuskie hit a solo home run in the second inning as Minersville built a 5-1 lead. Rachel Sterner collected four hits and winning pitcher Maura Bentz hit a two-run homer in the first and finished with three RBIs. She also fanned 11, walked one, hit one batter and scattered five hits.
Sarah Personnete’s RBI single in the first inning drove in Emma Schweigert to cut Schuylkill Haven’s early deficit to 3-1.
