COVE — Kaleb Hoch had two hits for Upper Dauphin, but the two-time defending Tri-Valley League champion Trojans will not win a third league crown.
Susquenita, led by pitcher Cole Falduts’ 11 strikeouts, defeated the Trojans 7-3 in the league semifinals on Wednesday.
Upper Dauphin, the East Division runner-up, was unable to hold a 2-1 lead as West Division champion Susquenita scored two runs in the third inning to take the lead to stay.
The Black Hawks added four runs in the sixth as Upper Dauphin issued three bases-loaded walks.
In addition to eight walks by the pitchers, Upper Dauphin committed three errors.
Jeremy Sultzaberger had two hits and two RBIs for Susquenita. Dane Barrick added two hits.
Matt Deitrich had a hit and an RBI for the Trojans, who held a 6-5 edge in hits.
Susquenita will face Milersburg, a 10-2 winner over Juniata in the other semifinal, for the league title on Friday at Newport.

WEATHERLY — Ryan Hoffman pitched a complete game in the opener and had two doubles in the nightcap as the Wreckers split a non-league doubleheader with CMVT.
In the opener, the Rams used a run in the top of the eighth inning to pull out an 8-7 victory. Hoffman went the distance in a losing effort, striking out eight.
The Wreckers turned the tables in Game 2, using a pair of fifth-inning runs to capture a 3-2 win. A.J. Knepper and Brett Kelly had RBIs for Weatherly, while Kelly scattered eight hits and struck out five to pick up the pitching victory.

COVE — Taylor Brown led Upper Dauphin with a triple and RBI, but Susquenita took advantage of walks and five Trojan errors to beat Upper Dauphin in the Tri-Valley League semifinals.
Lexi Weaver also drove home a Trojan run.
Quinn Fisher hit a triple and drove home two runs for Susquenita.
Susquenita faces Millersburg, a 3-1 winner over Greenwood in the other semifinal, for the league title on Friday at Newport.

AKRON, Ohio — Pitchers Brandon Boyd and Tristen Marcum limited Penn State Schuylkill to two hits as Cincinnati-Clermont blanked the Lions in the opening round of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association World Series.
The loss sends Penn State Schuylkill into the losers’ bracket, where it will face St. Joseph’s (Vt.), a 9-4 loser Wednesday to Tennessee Temple, at 11 a.m. today.
Gaetano Visconti and Chris Kreider each hit singles for Penn State Schuylkill.
Nick Burrus had three hits and four RBIs for Cincinnati-Clermont.
