Family fishing event

at Bass Pro Shops

A “Gone Fishing” event featuring a catch-and-release pond designed to introduce new anglers to the sport and provide an opportunity for others to test various tackle is being held Saturday-Sunday, June 20-21, at Bass Pro Shops, 3501 Paxton St., Harrisburg. Fishing is from noon to 5 p.m. These free how-to seminars will be presented:

Gone Fishing, 11 a.m.; Fishing — The Reel Thing, 1 p.m.; Fishing — Anyone Can Do It, 2 p.m.; and Go Fish — Batteries Not Required, 3 p.m. Information about “Gone Fishing” events is available at www.BassPro.com/GoneFishing.
