FORT MYERS, Fla. — Pottsville graduate Travis Blankenhorn was 0-for-3 and was hit by a pitch as the GCL Twins defeated the GCL Rays 3-1 on Monday at Charlotte Sports Park.
Blankenhorn batted fifth and played third base for the GCL Twins (4-3), who host the Rays today at noon.
Blankenhorn is hitting .190 (4-for-21) through seven games with two doubles, a triple, one RBI and two stolen bases. He’s had just one hit in his last 14 at-bats.
