FRACKVILLE — The top two seeds in the Schuylkill County Teener League Junior Division playoffs will play for the championship.
Brandon Rockwell was 3-for-5 and drove in four runs as top seed Frackville Green got out to an early lead and went on to a 13-6 victory over No. 6 Branch in the semifinals Thursday.
No. 2 seed Schuylkill Valley Maroon downed No. 6 DeAngelo’s Crimson 1-0 in Thursday’s other semifinal. Schuylkill Valley Maroon travels to Frackville Green for the title tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Park.
Michael Little was also 3-for-4 for Frackville Green (22-2), while Max Schally drove in two runs.
Frackville Green got out to a 6-0 lead after two innings. Branch (19-5) scored two runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings to make it 6-4, but Frackville Green put the game away with a seven run bottom of the sixth.
Gehrig Hossler, Josh Halye and Charles Stablum had two hits apiece for Branch, while Halye and Brennan Chapman drove in two runs apiece. Halye had a double and a triple.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Schuylkill Valley Maroon didn’t need much offense to punch its ticket to the Schuylkill County Teener League Junior Division championship.
Aiden Stanton doubled and scored in the fourth inning for Maroon’s only hit and run in a semifinal victory over DeAngelo’s Crimson.
J.C. Rodrian and Stanton scattered four hits on the hill for Schuylkill Valley. Rodrian pitched four innings for the win, while Stanton struck out four to earn a two-inning save.

Upper Schuylkill 0
CRESSONA — Kegan Hertz pitched a three-hitter over four innings and had two hits and drove in two runs to lead Cressona to a Pool 1 victory over Upper Schuylkill.
Taylor Stewart also had two hits for Cressona, including a double to open the bottom of the first. Cressona scored three runs in the inning.
Stewart, Brody Robinson, Ryan Caulfield and Owen Oakley each drove in a run for Cressona. Oakley’s RBI single ended the game in the fourth by the 10-run rule.
Hertz struck out three and walked one.
Bill Joyce, Anthony Markosky and Zach Schwalm each had a hit for Upper Schuylkill. Schwalm’s was a double.

Orwigsburg scored eight runs in the fifth inning to rally past Railway Park on Wednesday.
Connor Meisner and Dewey Ratzan each had hits for Orwigsburg in the fifth.
Orwigsburg reliever Brody Shappel struck out two batters in the sixth to close the game.

HEGINS — Hunter Herb went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored, but the West Enders lost their fifth straight to the A’s in a Schuylkill-Berks Legion League game.
Stan Kuczawa scored two runs and drove in two more for Muhlenberg, which clinched the South Division title with the win and Oley/Topton’s loss to Post 625.
Both Valley View, which already clinched the North, and Muhlenberg get automatic placements in the league tournament next week.

Alex Everly had two hits for Pottsville and got two outs from the mound in the first inning before errors opened the Wyomissing flood gates.
Mark Salas-Lopez had three hits, one a double, for the Angels.
