Summer camps/7-on-7s attended: A few players went to individual camps, but Tri-Valley does not attend camp as a team. Dawgs did have some informal passing scrimmages with Marian, Shenandoah Valley and Mahanoy Area
Coach’s comment on summer workouts: “At Tri-Valley, we do not put a lot of emphasis on team summer workouts. Since a lot of our players are two- or three-sport athletes, we give them the summer to rest, recuperate and recharge their batteries. We begin the first week of August and go ‘full tilt’ from there.”
Two burning questions heading into camp:
A — Who replaces All-Area selection Hunter Harner at QB? Senior Jaden Buchanan and sophomore Logan Yoder will vie for that position.
B — Finding a defensive leader after middle linebacker Anthony Snyder graduated.
