NEW TRIPOLI — Kyra Schenk had nine kills, two digs and two aces as Pottsville swept Northwestern Lehigh 25-23, 25-20, 25-21 in a non-league match Wednesday night.
Madison Sherakas contributed three kills, two digs and an ace, while Kasie Shaw registered five digs and one kill for the Crimson Tide.
Pottsville won JV 2-1.

JIM THORPE — Overcoming 11 kills by the Hurricanes’ Madison Felty, the Olympians defeated Schuylkill Haven 23-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-16 in a non-league match.
Erin Shigo led the Olympians with five kills. Kelsey Carroll added eight assists, Alex McGinley had 12 digs and Jill Peterson posted two blocks.
Felty added four service points, nine digs and two blocks for the Hurricanes. Tori Pascucci served three aces among her 11 service points and contributed 15 digs from her libero position. Ashley Ferrando added six service points, five digs and 13 assists.
Jim Thorpe won JV 2-0.

CATASAUQUA — Mackenzie McVicker collected six kills and a block, helping the Blue Raiders sweep the Rough Riders 25-16, 25-12, 25-9 in a non-league match.
Alexis Baddick added four kills and seven aces, while Paige Triano dished six assists for Tamaqua, which won JV 2-1.

HALIFAX — Jordyn Ashberry registered 15 assists and eight digs as the Wildcats outlasted Mifflin County 25-6, 24-26, 24-26, 25-18, 15-9 in a non-league match.
Morgan Calhoun tallied eight aces, Brianna Turner had seven kills and Kendall Lehman had nine digs for Halifax.

Mont Alto takes pair from Schuylkill
MONT ALTO — Penn State Schuylkill’s Marla Stoner combined for 21 assists in a pair of losses to Penn State Mont Alto in PSUAC action.
In the first match, Mont Alto earned a 25-16, 25-19, 25-4 win as Stoner, a Pine Grove grad, notched 12 assists. Michelle O’Dell (Blue Mountain) added five digs and Hayley Wolff (Pine Grove) contributed five kills.
Mont Alto took the second match 25-10, 25-6, 25-12 as Stoner compiled 12 digs and nine assists and Wolff collected five kills.
