TOWER CITY — Ashley Strausser piled up three aces, nine kills and five digs as Nativity’s girls’ volleyball team remained unbeaten by sweeping Williams Valley 25-11, 25-4, 25-10 in a Schuylkill League Division III-IV crossover match on Thursday.
Cecelia DiNicola registered eight kills, two digs and four blocks and Noelle Steele had four aces, 15 assists and six digs for the Green Wave (7-0, 7-0 D-IV) Jocelyn Holobetz added eight kills for Nativity.
For Williams Valley (1-8, 1-6 D-III), Rylie Thomas tallied five assists, Savannah Slough contributed three service points and seven digs and Jenna Daniel collected eight digs.
Nativity won the junior varsity match 2-0.

HEGINS — Kat Sherry registered 14 service points, six kills and two aces as the Dawgs defeated the Golden Bears 25-14, 26-24, 25-20 in a Division III-IV crossover match
Reagan Newswanger added 21 assists for the Dawgs.
Cat Troutman finished with 11 service points, three aces and four kills and Maddie Deibert collared 18 kills and 11 service points for Tri-Valley (7-1, 6-1), which bounced back from Tuesday’s loss at Nativity.
Mickayla Backo posted seven kills, five digs and eight service points and Desiree Malacusky added six kills, four blocks for Mahanoy Area (5-3, 4-3 D-IV). Mychaellah Lucas tallied 15 assists and Sydney Gnall posted 16 digs.
Tri-Valley won the JV match 2-1.

ELIZABETHVILLE — Reiley Lonergan posted 10 kills and three blocks as Minersville remained a half-game behind Nativity with a 25-17, 25-12, 25-17 sweep over Upper Dauphin in a Division III-IV volleyball crossover match.
Emily Bartashus added eight kills and 11 digs and Meg Schwalm totaled 29 digs and two aces for Minersville (8-1, 7-1 D-IV), which took its seventh straight win. Makenzie Cullen contributed three kills.
Upper Dauphin won the JV match 2-0.

HALIFAX — Morgan Calhoun compiled six aces and five kills as the Wildcats swept the Blue Devils 25-18, 25-17, 25-15 in a Division III-IV crossover match.
Kendall Lehman contributed eight kills and four digs, Emily Miller added five kills and Jordyn Ashberry dished 19 assists for Halifax (7-2, 5-2 D-III).
For Shenandoah Valley (1-8, 1-7 D-IV), Marcella Creasy posted four kills, four digs, one block and three service points. Julia Najera collected two aces, eight digs, four assists, two kills and nine service points and Alaina Demalis tallied three aces, 11 digs and six service points.

MILLERSBURG — Taryn Herb had 25 kills to lead Millersburg to a 23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 19-25, 15-10 marathon win over Weatherly in a Division III-IV crossover match.
Emily Schade added three kills and 36 assists for the Indians (4-4, 3-4 D-III). Lexy Fisher had four aces and Karleen Bell added three. Cassidy Prince had eight kills.
For Weatherly (2-8, 1-7 D-IV), Lexi Hartz registered five service points, three aces, seven digs and nine kills. Samantha Andreuzzi added 10 points, six aces and six kills, Emily Zoscin contributed five points, two aces and three digs. Jackie Gillott finished with nine points and three aces and Megan McClintock posted eight points and five kills.

COAL TOWNSHIP — Alyssa Jordan compiled 10 kills, one ace and four digs in the Indians’ 25-13, 25-10, 25-21 win over the Red Raiders in a Division I-II crossover matcup.
Katie Higgins collected nine kills, 12 digs and eight aces, while Tori Rodriguez contributed three kills and 18 assists for Lehighton (5-3, 4-2 D-I).
Lehighton won the JV match 2-0.

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS — Halting a three-match losing streak, Pottsville defeated the Spartans 25-19, 24-26, 25-8, 25-18 in a Division I-II crossover match.
Becca Sites recorded eight kills and two aces while Kyra Schenk tallied seven kills and two blocks for Pottsville (4-4, 3-3 D-I).
Leanna Gregas had 19 kills for the Spartans (4-5, 3-4 D-II). Sammy Shinkus had 16 kills and 12 digs while Vanessa Ferraiolo had 29 assists.
Pottsville won the JV match 2-0.

Chloe Markovich registered three kills, 16 service points and four aces and Jamey Mikovich tallied 18 kills, eight service points and 13 digs for Panther Valley (6-2, 4-2 D-II).
Alexis Baddick had two kills, two digs and four blocks, Andrea Iacoviello contributed four digs and Mackenzie McVicker tallied 11 blocks for Tamaqua (3-6, 1-6 D-I).
Panther Valley won the JV match 2-0.
