TAMAQUA — Steph Aungst and Rachel Edge had two goals apiece as Pine Grove remained unbeaten on the season with a 9-0 shutout of Tamaqua in a Schuylkill League Division I girls’ soccer match Thursday night.

Jennifer Kaufman had to make just two stops for her fifth shutout of the season.

The Cardinals (9-0, 6-0 D-I will host Minersville (7-1, 6-0 D-II) in a battle of division leaders Saturday afternoon.

After Lehighton’s Rajah Quinones tied the game in the 5th minute, Emily Rose, Hoak and Megan Dalton gave Pottsville a three-goal cushion.

Delaney Golden added a goal and an assist for the Crimson Tide.
