Bears battle back
for 2-1 triumph
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Travis Boyd’s shootout goal provided the difference and Justin Peters posted 32 saves as the Hershey Bears beat the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in an American Hockey League game on Sunday.
Connor Carrick gave Hershey the lead in the shootout before Boyd’s goal ended the shootout.
Sean Collins tied the game at 1-1 for Hershey in the third period.
