The two-time Schuylkill League champion Dawgs improved to 3-0 with a 24-26, 25-7, 25-12, 25-13 victory over Pine Grove in a Twin Valley Conference match Monday.
Regan Newswanger recorded 27 assists and five aces and Jordan Schwalm notched 16 kills for Tri-Valley (3-0). Katie Rabuck added seven kills and 12 digs as the Dawgs prepped for tonight's key Division II match against Halifax.
Kayla Bressler had nine kills and Holly Martin had 17 digs for Pine Grove (1-2).
Pine Grove won JV 2-0.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - Cassidy Mason compiled 33 assists, three kills and three aces in the Miners' 22-25, 26-28, 25-20, 25-22, 15-11 victory over the Hurricanes.
Katie Krasinski notched 10 kills and Alexis Huntzinger had 10 kills and one block for Minersville (2-1).
Kayla Hartz paced Schuylkill Haven (1-3) with seven service points and eight kills, while Malory Medaglia had 11 digs and two kills and Alexis Owens collected 15 digs.
Minersville won JV 2-0.

CATASAUQUA - Carly Trovinger scored 11 service points and recorded seven aces, 14 assists, four kills and five digs in the Blue Raiders' 25-21, 25-19, 25-13 non-league victory over the Rough Riders.
Jaclin Valasek added 10 service points, five aces, six kills and two digs for Tamaqua (1-2), while Rylee Devlin had seven service points, two aces, nine kills and three digs
Tamaqua won JV 2-0.

NEW TRIPOLI - The Tigers outlasted the Olympians 20-25, 25-16, 25-11, 16-25, 16-14 in a non-league match.
Jocelyn DeMarco notched nine kills, four blocks and two aces for Jim Thorpe (0-3), while Riley Carroll had two kills, 27 assists and eight digs, Erin Shigo collected five kills and five aces, and Mackenzie Walck had five kills.
NW Lehigh won JV 2-0.

HALIFAX - Brooke Grill led the way with eight kills and one block as the Wildcats captured a 25-19, 25-15, 25-15 non-league victory over the Huskies.
Shannon Buggy recorded 16 digs and four aces, while Catherine Amoriello had 13 assists for Halifax (2-1).

COAL TOWNSHIP - Olivia Bonshock recorded 16 kills for Shamokin in a 25-14, 25-9, 25-21 Twin Valley League victory over Millersburg.
Ashley Huxta added 20 assists and Stefanie Hile had seven kills for Shamokin.
Bryanna Burke scored 10 service points, Jessica Millard notched 11 kills and Amber Roach dished out 21 assists for Millersburg (2-1).
