WILLIAMSPORT - Travis Blankenhorn had a monster night with a career-high 33 points as Pottsville pulled off its biggest win so far this season with a 53-37 victory over Williamsport on Tuesday in a non-league boys' basketball contest.
Blankenhorn was 6-for-6 from 3-point land in the game, and added seven rebounds and three assists. His previous career high in points was 24 against Pine Grove last season.
Eli Nabholz added nine points and four blocks for the Crimson Tide, while Jordan Melochick had six points and seven rebounds. Pottsville led 11-8 after the first quarter and 31-19 at the half.
Isaiah Washington had 15 points for the Millionaires as Melochick kept one of Williamsport's best players under control.
Blue Mountain 68 Pine Grove 25
ORWIGSBURG - The Eagles continued their strong start to the season by opening their Schuylkill League Division I schedule with a romp over the Cardinals.
Blue Mountain had all 12 of its players score as the Eagles opened the game with a 21-0 run.
Skyler Panchari had a game-high 12 points for the Eagles, while Kyle Slane added 10 and Will Bornstein and Mark Chelius seven apiece.
Pine Grove, which lost its fourth consecutive game, was held to 10 field goals, including five by leading scorer Kobe D'Agostino, who had 13 points.
Minersville 53 Lourdes 25
COAL TOWNSHIP - Spencer Tobin had a game-high 14 points as the Miners held the Red Raiders to eight second-half points during their Division II victory.
Shamiek Bethea and Dylan Ellinger added eight points apiece for Minersville, which led 18-11 after the first quarter and slowly pulled away with a 16-6 run in the second to go up 34-17 at the half.
Upper Dauphin 68 Line Mountain 46
ELIZABETHVILLE - Keegan Carl had a game-high 15 points, while Mac Ney scored 12 of his 14 in the first quarter as the Trojans routed the Eagles in a Tri-Valley League contest.
Matt Miller added 10 points on the night for Upper Dauphin, which led 27-5 after the first quarter, finishing it off with an 8-0 run.
Kellan Masser had 11 points for Line Mountain.
Fleetwood 59 Hamburg 29
FLEETWOOD - Matt Hook had a game-high 14 points to lead the Tigers to a Berks League Section II victory over the Hawks.
Fleetwood led 12-11 after the first quarter and held an 18-4 scoring advantage in the second to go up 30-15 at halftime. Brian Schumacher and Hook each had eight points in the second quarter.
Joshua Kisha had six points to lead Hamburg.

HAMBURG - Sydney Lesher and Kassidy Lesher had seven points apiece as the Hawks couldn't get much going offensively during their Berks League Section II lost to the Tigers.
Xiomara Toledo had 12 points for Fleetwood, while Kendra Bamberger and Cyre Virgo added 11 points apiece.
Hamburg led 9-8 after the first quarter but the Tigers went on a 26-9 run during the second and third quarters to go up 34-18 after three.
H.S. wrestling Halifax 46 Col-Mon Vo-Tech 36
HALIFAX - Hunter Enders' pin in the meet's next-to-last bout erased a 36-34 deficit, and Nathaniel Enders' fall in the final bout allowed Halifax (2-2, 2-0 D-II) to outscore Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech (3-4, 0-1) in a Schuylkill League Division II matchup.
After Kale Yacko's third-period fall at 126 pounds put the Rams ahead, both Hunter Enders and Nathaniel Enders recorded first-period pins to boost the Wildcats.
Halifax also got falls from Cade Wilbert, Tyler Lenker, Jakob Paul and Travis Enders. CMVT was helped by a pin by Jarred Slodysko.
