SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - Reighly Melochick became second on the Minersville girls' basketball all-time scoring list in Friday's 60-21, Schuylkill League Division II win over Schuylkill Haven.

Melochick scored 20 points, including five 3-pointers, to reach career point 1,907 and pass Lori Pisco Snyder on the scoring list.

Emily Mealey recorded 11 points for the Miners in the win.

Calista Carl led the Hurricanes with 10 points.

Tamaqua 40 Panther Valley 37

TAMAQUA - Paige Demetriades recorded a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds), Vanessa Solt tallied a game-high 18 points and the Blue Raiders earned their first win of the season with a Division I victory over Panther Valley.

Madison Blasko led Panther Valley with 13 points, while Jamie Mikovich added 10.

Lourdes 42 Williams Valley 36

SHAMOKIN - Rachel Schultz scored 15 points and went 4-for-6 from the foul line to lead Lourdes to a victory over Williams Valley and clinch a berth in the District 4 Class A playoffs.

Cassidy Pinchorski led the Vikings with 15 points.

North Schuylkill 42 Blue Mountain 28

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS - Tiffany Lapotsky scored 10 points and Carly Gregas added eight points as North Schuylkill topped Blue Mountain in a Division I game.

Abigail Fanelli led the Eagles with seven points.

Nativity 53 Mahanoy Area 40

MAHANOY CITY - Olivia Andrefski posted six 3-pointers and finished with 25 points to pace Nativity past Mahanoy Area in a Division III game.

Keegan White added 12 points for the Golden Girls.

Macey Brown sank five 3-pointers for 15 points for Mahanoy Area.

Marian 70 Weatherly 24

WEATHERLY - Lindsay Nemeth and Abbey Whilbin each scored 10 points as Marian defeated Weatherly in a Division III game.

Lexi Hartz led the Wreckers with five points.

Boys' basketball Halifax 68 Tri-Valley 48

HEGINS - Jaden Buchanan scored 15 points and Devin Masser added three 3-pointers for a total of nine points as Tri-Valley fell to Halifax in a non-league boys' game.

Millersburg 65 Pine Grove 31

PINE GROVE - Mark Weinus scored 10 points and Kobe D'Agostino added nine more but Pine Grove fell to Millersburg in a non-league boys' game.

Christian Wingard led the Indians with 21 points, including six 3-pointers.

Pocono Mtn. Chart. 78 Gillingham Charter 17

TOBYHANNA - The Wolfpack fell in an early 18-2 hole after the first quarter and dropped a non-league game to Pocono Mountain Charter.

Shaun Kauffman led Gillingham with eight points, including hitting 6-of-8 from the free-throw line.

WILKES-BARRE - Molly Carduff scored 15 points and Sarah Cerani added 12, but the Penn State Schuylkill lost to Penn State Wilkes-Barre in a tight game.

Men's basketball PSU Wilkes-Barre 76 PSU Schuylkill 67

WILKES-BARRE - Kenford Lynch scored 27 points and Jordan Blankenhorn added nine more but Penn State Schuylkill lost to PSU Wilkes-Barre in a men's college game.

H.S. Wrestling Blue Mountain 33 Pine Grove 25

ORWIGSBURG - Tristen Coello, Hunter Blankenhorn and Michael Yackenchick each had pins for Blue Mountain as the Eagles beat Pine Grove in a Schuylkill League match.
