SLATINGTON - Tri-Valley coach Bob Felty thought his team would fare well against second-seeded Salem Christian in the District 11 Class A quarterfinals.

Well, maybe not this well.

Brianna Wiscount scored a game-high 14 points as the defending district and PIAA Class A state champions dominated Salem Christian from start to finish en route to a 63-8 victory Saturday.

The Bulldogs opened the game on a 20-2 run, led 37-4 at halftime and did not allow a single point in the entire fourth quarter.

The victory advances the seventh-seeded Dawgs to Wednesday's semifinals, where they will play sixth-seeded Shenandoah Valley, a 33-31 overtime winner over Nativity, at 6 p.m. in Martz Hall.
