MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Chris Kreider went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a losing effort as Penn State Schuylkill suffered an 11-4 loss to Lancaster Bible in non-conference college baseball action Wednesday at the Ripken Experience.
Pine Grove graduates Brett Kreiser and Bryan Dimon, and Minersville alumn Ryan King each had two hits for PSU-Schuylkill (0-3), which collected 11 hits in the nine-inning contest.
Pine Grove's Wade Bressler suffered the loss, giving up 15 hits and nine runs (seven earned) in six innings, with three strikeouts. Jordan Blankenhorn, another Pine Grove grad, gave up two hits and two runs in two innings of relief.
Penn State Schuylkill continues its Spring Break trip to South Carolina today against West Virginia Wesleyan before finishing the trip Friday against Ursinus.
