ORWIGSBURG - Three Blue Mountain athletes won three events each as the Eagles boys' track and field team defeated Minersville 131-19 in a Schuylkill League Division I meet Monday.
Collin Richards (100, 400 relay, 1,600 relay) joined Tristan Dickey (400, 800 1,600 relay) and Colton Cryts (high jump, long jump, pole vault) with three wins each for the Eagles, who won their season debut. Bayne Keitsock added wins in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, while Derek Mosteller won the 1,600 and 3,200.
Minersville's lone winner was Hunter Snyder, who took the javelin.

ORWIGSBURG - Shelby Whiteash (100, 400 relay, 1,600 relay) and Cassie Woleschok (100 hurdles, long jump, triple jump) each won three events as the Eagles dominated Minersville in both teams' Schuylkill League Division I and season debuts Monday.
Audrey Reilley (400, 1,600 relay), Carissa Lorimer (shot put, discus) and Shannon Henninger (1,600, 3,200) each won two events for Blue Mountain.
Minersville was led by Katie Glore, who won the pole vault.

Pottsville boys drop 4 in Easton Tourney
EASTON - The Crimson Tide boys' volleyball team finished Easton's Red Rover Invitational 0-4 on Saturday.
Pottsville dropped decisions to Central Bucks South, Wyoming Valley West, Northampton and William Allen.
Ryan Reese finished the tournament with 13 kills to lead the Tide's offense. Dan Beruck added 14 assists and Derek Weicikosky registered 18 digs.
