ELIZABETHVILLE - A three-run sixth inning proved to be the difference as Upper Dauphin to beat Lancaster Country Day 8-6 on Tuesday to give the Trojans their fourth Tri-Valley League baseball title in five years.
An RBI groundout by Kyle Glouner in the sixth scored Tanner Miller, while an error allowed Mac Ney to also reach home plate safely, giving the Trojans an 8-5 lead.
The sixth-inning RBI was the second on the day for Glouner, who doubled in a run earlier in the game.
Glouner started the game on the mound for Upper Dauphin, but was relieved by Aaron Cleveland, who earned the win.

MAHANOY CITY - Nick Gurski had four hits, including a triple and a double, scored three runs and added two RBIs in the Blue Devils' non-league win over the Golden Bears.
Alberto Ruiz also had a four-hit day for Shenandoah Valley, while Ian McCole finished 3-for-5 with a triple and five RBIs.
Troy Kimmel finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Mahanoy Area. Mason Evitts doubled and scored three runs for the Bears.

DUNMORE - Brian Reichert had three hits, while Kobe D'Agostino and Steve Zimmerman added two apiece as the Cardinals hammered the Crusaders in five innings in a non-league contest.
D'Agostino drove in four runs with Logan Levan and Reichert adding three apiece.
H.S. Softball Tri-Valley 14 Lourdes 2
MOUNT CARMEL - Winning pitcher Taryn Wilson went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run and five RBIs to lead the Dawgs to a Division II victory.
In the circle, Wilson allowed just three hits and struck out 10.
