Brewery to host NASCAR race team
D.G. Yuengling Inc. will host NASCAR race team owner Richard Childress and NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Ty Dillon for its BBQ at the Brewery event Thursday at the Mahantongo Street facility.
Childress, whose team has a sponsorship deal with the Pottsville brewer, and Dillon, who won the recent Nationwide Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will sign autographs for fans from noon to 2 p.m.
Childress’ NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team, with Ty’s brother Austin behind the wheel, carried the Yuengling colors to victory in Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono Raceway.
