Big Diamond sets midweek program
FORESTVILLE — Big Diamond Speedway officials announced Monday the Anthracite Assault, a racing program for modifieds, will return to the Forestville oval in the 2015 schedule.
The program, conducted by BD Motorsports Media LLC, was held in July 2011 and was won by Stewart Friesen.
The event’s renewal will be held Tuesday, June 16, and will feature a 50-lap feature, paying $5,000 to the winner, conducted by the Short Track Super Series Fueled by VP.
ESPN2 to air PSU-Michigan
STATE COLLEGE — ESPN2 will televise Penn State’s football game at Michigan at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.
The Nittany Lions will play in the Wolverines’ first Big Ten Conference home night game.
Penn State has a bye this week while Michigan visits Rutgers on Saturday.
