LVC’s Gaffney
to play in senior
game in Miami
ANNVILLE — Lebanon Valley College linebacker Frank Gaffney has accepted an invitation to play in the National Bowl Senior All-Star Game to be held Sunday, Dec. 7, in Miami, Fla.
The game will take place in Ocean Bank Field at Florida International University and features the top seniors from NCAA Division I FCS, Division II and Division III. The National Bowl is the only elite-level senior all-star game focusing on non-FBS players, giving them exposure to NFL, CFL and AFL scouts.
Gaffney, a Blue Mountain graduate, also received an invitation to the Dream Bowl all-star game earlier this season. The Cliff Harris Award nominee and first-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference pick finished with 86 tackles, including 9½ for loss, and 3½ sacks. He compiled four games with 10-plus tackles.
