HOMETOWN — Matt Yedsena scored a game-high 19 points, lifting Mahanoy Area to a 41-35 victory over Marian in a Schuylkill League Division III boys’ basketball contest Thursday evening.

Brian Miller added 14 points for the Golden Bears, who led 13-9 after the first quarter.

Nick Wesner led Marian with 16 points.
