LANCASTER — Facing a 14-point deficit heading to the fourth quarter Tuesday, Matthew Miller decided it was time to take over.
The Upper Dauphin sharp shooter scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and six more in overtime to lead the Trojans past Lancaster Country Day 70-66 in a Tri-Valley League East Division game.
Miller finished with a career-high 41 points, surpassing his previous high of 39 set earlier this season. He also finished with 10 rebounds. In addition, Miller’s eight 3-pointers were one shy of his school record.
Jordan Gessner added 10 rebounds for Upper Dauphin.
Taylor Eynon paced Lancaster Country Day with 26 points.
