Talk about pitching a gem in the season opener: “It was really exciting to start the year like that. We definitely want to continue with that pace. It set a good tone for the season.’’
What to you like most about softball?: “I love pitching because it’s such a mental game. I like being in control of every play.’’
Individual goals for this season: Get Pitcher of the Year for the Schuylkill League.
Team goals for this season: Get to Blue Mountain to play in Schuylkill League championship game and win it. Go far in districts.
Post-graduation plans: Attend and play softball at Davis & Elkins, a Division II school in West Virginia.
