Big Diamond sets Triple Diamonds
FORESTVILLE — Big Diamond Speedway will host the first Triple Diamonds program for 358 modifieds at 8:15 p.m. today.
The division’s entrants will be split into two semi-features, each 15 laps, with lineups determined by timed dashes.
The top five from each semi-feature, which pays $1,000 to the winners, qualify for the A-main. The remainder will compete in B-mains with the eight drivers from those races qualifying for a 14-car redraw with the semi-feature qualifiers. The rest of the field will line up by their B-main finishes.
The A-main will be 30 laps and pay $3,000 to the winner.
The sportsman and roadrunner divisions also are scheduled.
Tickets cost $20 per general admission. Admission is free to active military personnel with identification and to children ages 12 and under.
