Mahanoy Area knocked down 12 triples Wednesday night, including six by Jason Richmond on his way to a team-high 18 points in a 70-46 rout of Nativity in a Schuylkill League Division III boys' basketball contest.
Larry McNeil added 17 points, while Tyler Cavenas scored 14 for the Golden Bears.
Kyle Kaledas had a game-high 22 points for Nativity.

NEW PHILADELPHIA - Pocono Mountain Charter took a 17-7 lead after the quarter and won each of the remaining quarters to pull away from Gillingham Charter in a non-league contest.
Sadeon Burney led the winning team with 14 points. Makheo Jamison added 11 points, including three 3-pointers, and Christian Prieto contributed 10.
Isaiah Thompson scored half of Gillingham Charter's points and five of the team's nine field goals.
Girls' Basketball Nativity 81 Mahanoy Area 41
Erin Luckenbill led five Golden Girls in double figures with 17 points as Nativity earned a Division III victory over the Golden Bears atop Lawton's Hill.
Keegan White (16), Olivia Andrefski (13), Allison Warren (12) and Jordyn Simons joined Luckenbill in double figures.
Macey Brown and Erin Davidson tallied 10 points apiece for Mahanoy Area.
