ANNVILLE - The Penn State Schuylkill baseball team dropped to 2-7 on the season with a pair of losses to Lebanon Valley College on Sunday.
In the opener, Jim Thorpe graduate Corey Cinicola ended a wild, 10-inning contest with a walk-off single as the Dutchmen beat the Lions 6-5. Hamburg's Mike Specht was 3-for-4 with a two-run double for Lebanon Valley, which overcame a 5-2 deficit with three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Schuylkill Haven's Phill Dohner had an RBI double in the rally.
Pine Grove's Bryan Dimon was 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI for Penn State Schuylkill, while Josh Whalen stole three bases and Minersville's Ryan King scattered five hits and allowed three earned runs in eight innings of work.
Penn State Schuylkill nearly took the lead in the eighth, but Whalen was thrown out trying to steal home with two outs.
In the nightcap, Jason Barthold scattered four hits in a complete-game effort as the Dutchmen captured a 7-1 victory.
Dohner collected the 100th hit of his college career with an RBI double as part of a six-run sixth inning.
